At Global DX we are passionate about animals and their healthcare helping them to live disease free lives, offering rapid and accurate innovative diagnostics as the first point of care.

Building on over 60 years of experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics industry, our history dates back to 1987 when our late Founder, Andrew Shepherd, established Omega Diagnostics Plc. providing human diagnostic solutions, which met with great success and established a distribution network in over 110 countries.   An avid campaigner of quality healthcare, Andrew worked alongside WHO, CHAI (Clinton Health Access Initiative), Médecins Sans Frontières and was a voluntary advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for a number of years providing specialist advice on key areas such as TB, Malaria and HIV. With exceptional export success, Omega Diagnostics Plc received The Queen’s Award for Exports, presented by HRH, The Late, Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.  Husband and Wife, Andrew and Sharon Shepherd subsequently co-founded Global DX Ltd to meet the unmet demand for quality animal healthcare for both companion and livestock animals.
